Over the last several weeks of sheltering-in-place, I’ve had plenty of time to reflect on why I’m running to serve on the Board of Commissioners and have found that my resolve is stronger than ever. The things that really matter in life are more clear than even before.
We must provide a first class education with equal access for ALL of our children. We must work hard to ensure our community is healthy and safe. When we come out of this public health crisis, we will need fresh ideas, vision, and energy on the Board to make the decisions that will rebuild our local economy and shape our future as a county.
We NEED leadership in times of calm and crisis that reflect the values of our community. I’m running to create a community where my children, your children and grandchildren, will want to live, work, and raise their families.
